Hey everyone im back from Japan!
This was my 2nd time to Japan and in many more years to come :)

Thank you CLIQUE for sending me off at the airport! utterly grateful :D Thanks farmer ong for organising and such. I was very touched, good job. You will be given a dozen roll of toilet paper.

Anyway this Japan trip is so different from the rest of the other trips i've been before because it has a totally relaxed schedule, not so tightly packed with events as compared as travelling in a tour group.

Anyway Tozan was good, very good. But i dont feel that much of a strong feeling as back in 2007. The conditions are different now that my youngest sister is in a wheel chair. I've learnt how to really care for someone so close to me and not take things for granted. Throughout the whole trip i felt very protective of my sister but it was unnecessary. Okay this is the good part about Japan. Japan should promote me as their spokesperson.

In japan where ageing population is of great concern, their handicap facilities far surpass that of Singapore( even thought Sg faces the same population problem). Their toilets have buttons to slide open the door whereas the handicap toilet at Changi Airport has to be manual pushing. Besides that, Shopping centres in japan are equipped with wheelchair facilities such as a descending/ascending platform to go up and down the stairs. Also, the people there do not discriminate handicaps as much as in singapore. Japanese people are very polite, helpful and honest. i.e. in Japan you can leave your wheelchair unattended outside the shop but in sg somebody is bound to steal it.

Also, they have very attentive staffs at the train station to setup the ramp for my sister to wheel in to the carriage. To every handicapped person, 1 staff is assigned.

Now, we move on to people watching. Majority of the girls are pretty in Japan compared to singapore. hmm i realised japanese girls have really slim legs, like really! Very few percentage of them are fat or obese.

In Japan, the guys trim their brows-which looks nice and neat. However, i still prefer singaporean guys' style of dressing -the smart casual kind-

In this trip i took 2 new types of transport! The bullet train and taxi. Bullet train is not exactly as fast as it claims to be. The cool part of the train transport is that their seats are cushioned and each of them has a heater installed in it!

The Taxi is the most expensive transport. 15 mins can easily suck $50 from you.

Now FOOD!!@#!#$

I get to savour expensive and rare sashimi during the dinner with my father and uncle's business partner. Quite cool, 1 chef to 3-4 people. I tried the fried pufferfish (prohibited in Singapore due to lack of knowledge to remove poison from the fish), it tasted like normal fried grouper:/ The raw form was supposed to be a delicacy.

Since it was a business dinner, we had to entertain our host by finishing our food. I have to swallow the disgusting whale sperm which was served cold. The name itself is horrible enough, but served cold and raw? EEEW

jinyi. grp 5 says: yuck man they serve it cold not hot you know how raw it is

____! kampongboy. says: OMG!!!!!!!!!! eeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwww sounds so freaking gay aaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaawwww 12039492873894392879384 times

FYI it looks like brain. And tasted like concentrated egg yolk. But it was supposed to be good for the face too.

I ate sea urchin sushi too. The chef said it was one of the most loved sashimi in Japan but i found it gross. Appearance wise it looked like the yellow paste found in crabs. It tasted ....i dont know.. cholesterol-saturated?

Then i tried raw horse meat. yes literally the horse that gallops. The meat was tough but tasted like beef.

Anyway we had fun during the dinner. It's a pity that one of the partners could not come with their sons! It's been a long time since i played with them er 10 years ago? :S

My youngest sister wanted to know what was fat in japanese so that she could call my second sister that. So she asked my father's friend to translate.

she: sumimasen... fat.. in japanese?

he: oh fat? fat is futota.

she: then how to say 'you'?

he: Anata.

she mouthed the words to make sure it sounded right. ( Anata futota!)

me: ORHOR YOU JUST CALLED HIM FAT! QUICK SAY YOU FATTER THAN HIM!

She: oh oh oh gomenasai! watashiwa futota, futota, erm more fat than you!

he:hahahah, tame tame, anata kawaii!

Hhaha he was very modest when my sister was obviously fat.

I picked up a few lines in japan including ones like fuck you bastard. LOL but of course i didnt get to use it because in Japan, the guys dont girl-watch but girls do guy-watching.

Okay that's all i can remember for now! Pictures are on facebook! :)

Today is farewell assembly. I feel kind of old. Ocm is true. JC is the last time we'll be in a class with classmates that really recognize us. Unlike Uni, the time spent with each class from different modules is transient, we become faceless people. :( Time passed so fast, really! I still remembered when 2908 went on learning journey to OCS-feb last year gosh.
still rmb it was 14 weeks to A's while mugging for Prelims. Now it is 3.
2908 night cycling...Tchoukball A div 2009...boomz . Now it is countdown from 22 days.

Actually I realize the power of well wishes today. Normally i won't feel anything when people wish me Happy CNY, Happy Racial Harmony and the sorts. Except for Happy Birthday. HA!
I am really motivated by what the school, teachers, and my dearest friends have done for me. thank you for the sweet cards! I really want to dedicate a piano piece to all of you and like tag it on facebook or sth. But the camera angle quite hard to fix. Very hard to record only my hands:/

Anyway 1.5 months. JAPAN. I'll be liberated! But i dont wanna score badly either. I dont want to feel unprepared. Ah help.. any superior being out there. Please let me pull through this.
And ALL THE WAY FOR A's EVERYONE!!!

I LOVE 2908<3

Hello all. I got back my prelim results. Better than mid years but not too far off :/ But i seriously need to brush up on GP.
Anyway although i really hate those people who state how-many-days-to-A levels on their msn nick. IT IS DAMN ANNOYING AND IRRITATING OKAY. okay we have roughly 40 days left. I had to type it down so that it becomes sort of an official commitment. Anyway Happy birthday again to Huimin and Michelle!:D

And so i slacked the saturday off. It was my grandma's birthday and she held a dinner buffet at her/my cousin's house. The Ee-mian was nice i love it!
Then my cute nieces came! They are really very cute, being 4 and 6 years old. In the past every new meeting seems like their first encounter with me. Now at least they don't run away from me when i talk to them! :D

My cousin:
Want to let you know that Jia Zhen enjoyed your company a lot .. she said that you are very nice to her, better than her friends .. wow .. aren't you touched !!!! Btw, you told Jia Zhen that Junpyo buying food and coming to your house ... my innocent daughter asked me again on Sunday night whether Junpyo did go to your house .... :)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
In case you are clueless, Jun Pyo is the handsome leader of Korean's F4 drama series. We happened to catch the show on saturday and my niece asked me if i had a boyfriend.

Me: My boyfriend is there.. that handsome one on TV now! Jun Pyo!

Niece: How can he come out from the TV?

Me: of course can. People in TV from real life right? you don't believe you wait at the car porch. Jun pyo driving to my house! :D

Niece: wah, you sure he is your boyfriend? I go tell mummy!

Hahaha apparently she still cannot differentiate how a foreigner looks from a Singaporean! Hahaha i love kids! so adorable.

I dont want to die at prelims.
Today's maths difficulty was actually moderate, it's just that i keep tracing back on my workings to make sure it's error free because im a super careless person. That's why madam ong graded me weak for math tutorials :(

It all sums up to having no time to complete! PLEASE LET ME PASSS I BEG YOU BUDDHA. hahahaha.

My chem is a horrendous pile of shit. Chem god is in demand!

Econs case study was bad bad bad. I was stoning for the first 20 mins. Whatever i read came out from the other end :(

For bio paper 2.. IM FREAKING SAD THAT I DIDN'T HAVE THE TIME TO FINISH IT BECAUSE I KNOW HOW TO DO IT DAMN IT.

Okay the rantings will continue after the 4 papers ordeal on Friday. See you all!
